![]() | Welcome! I'm David Camp and this is my digital portfolio for teaching. On this site you will find information about my teaching philosophy, my critical reflections and annotations on the national teaching standards, additional reflections and comments on teaching and a comprehensive list of references and resources that I'm continually adding to. |
A little about me:
I'm a 27 year old Catholic Primary teacher who is currently employed in the Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn, at Holy Spirit Primary School in Nicholls. I have a deep love of learning and a passion for reading, writing and making mathematics fun. Whilst I am relatively new to the career of primary education, I have worked with youth since High School through various volunteer and paid Youth Work organisations and am constantly being renewed in my love of learning and Christ through my experiences with children.
I have learned a lot from other professionals in teaching, and have found personal reflections and reading blogs of other educators to be very fruitful in my journey as an educator and a learner. To that end, whilst I began this portfolio to provide evidence for my accreditation at a proficient level, I have designed the website in such a way that I can continue to reflect and perhaps provide inspiration, advice, or spark some learning for other educators. I am eager to learn from and with others and would be happy to hear from any like-minded educators who stumble upon this portfolio.
