Below are a list of annotated resources that I have created or found which may be of use for teaching.
Selection of personally created/adapted files
- A smartboard file focused on poetry for year 4 - looking at various features of poetry, including theme, type and language use.
- A smartboard file on buddhism and the Nan Tien temple - developed with the assistance of this powerpoint on Buddha.
- A smartboard file created for a year 4 probability unit.
- A smartboard file to be used as morning routine for a year one class.
- A powerpoint file I made for my stage 1 class regarding expositions.
- A powerpoint file I made for a stage 1 lesson on 2D shapes.
- A simple excel file I made to help show year 6 students the differences between percentage and data-point graphs (in terms of when data is changed).

- Mystery matters - a group of educational activities based on Australian curriculum for stages 2 onwards.
- Powtoon - An online resource for creating animated videos and presentations
- Prezi - an exciting perspectives based online presentation tool.
- Scholastic listen and read - an online resource allowing early learners to improve their skills and read along.
- Scootle - a digital resource for Australian teachers (especially check out the learning objects for mathematics in the fraction fiddle series).
- Story bird - A beautiful tool for students to create and share their own online picturebooks.
- Teachertube - A great source of educational videos for the classroom, but I've found them most useful for personal reflection.
- We give books - A beautiful online initiative that provides books to students who can't afford them that is funded by reading their selection of beautiful digital books.
- Word dynamo - An initiative from the founders of www.dictionary.com that allows students to expand their vocabulary and develop their understanding of words.
- A great modern parable helping students understand why Jesus came to earth (courtesy of Fr Michael Court - St. John Bosco)
